Compact cars in India have major market presence and it continues to grow like never before. Major Indian car makers have always felt that this segment was the one that can really inflate the sales volumes and eventually allowing them a strong foundation for the future. Indian automotive giants Maruti Suzuki and Tata motors are the current leaders in this segment but there has been strong competition from new entrants like the Volkswagen Group, Honda, Chevrolet and Hyundai to name a few. In terms of comfort, value for money, styling and features, the small car segment has had a lot of improvement. This has also lead to the creation of an altogether new segment on small cars called as the luxury hatchback segment and it is being well received by the Indians. This ever increasing demand for small cars has also resulted in companies going overboard to not only bringing newer models to the Indian small car market, but also constantly think over face-lifting their current fleet in the market. Experts believe that this segment in India is booming and is set to rise further. Not only are the existing car makers constantly thinking over giving it their all, but also companies manufacturing entry level and luxury sedans have dived into this segment. There only used to be Maruti Suzuki, Tata and Hyundai in this segment earlier but apart from these, every other car maker in India has cars for this segment. Some of the best selling cars in this segment are Maruti Alto, Maruti Swift, Tata Indica, Hyundai i10 and i20. Newer entrants have also created buzz with their competitive pricing and additional features. Some of the cars that have recently joined this segment are Volkswagen Polo, Ford Figo, Honda Jazz, Toyota Etios and Chevrolet Beat. All these cars have been great in their own rights and have kept each other on their toes. Having such cut-throat competition is always good for the customers. The Indian small car market continues to get flooded with small cars, fortunately there are buyers too.New car that are being launched in this segment boast of features like anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, airbags and many other utility features that were never there before. Maruti is the leader in the Indian car market followed by Hyundai which has cars competing with Maruti in every segment that the latter caters to. The car market in India is experiencing a phase where car manufacturers are constantly innovating and are aggressive when it comes to new car launches so as to outdo one another in satisfying the Indian customer. And from the consumer point of view, it is no longer a case of being monotonous and selecting a conventional car. Indians now, like to experiment and are willing to go for the best without having to compromise due to financial constraints.
Although the majority of American car owners have their wheel alignment checked by an auto care professional during routine mileage checkups, there are a few tips that can help you know whether or not it is time to have your vehicle inspected.Wheel alignment consists of adjusting the angle of the wheels so that they are completely perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other, Family Car Parts reports. While a recently purchased used car will be perfectly aligned, normal wear and stress can cause the front wheels to slowly become crooked, whether or not your vehicle is equipped with an adjustable or non-adjustable rear suspension. The easiest way to assess whether your car is misaligned is to visually inspect the tire itself. If there is uneven or especially rapid tire wear, take your vehicle into the shop immediately. While tire wear is the simplest way to diagnose poor alignment, it is often the last symptom to appear. If you let the problem go unattended for too long, you may find yourself being forced to purchase four new tires. When your vehicle is not aligned properly, you may also feel that it does not naturally drive in a straight line, or is pulling or drifting to one side of the road on its own.A final, more comprehensive examination of your wheel alignment can be conducted using just a coin. Take a quarter and place it in the tread at the inside, outside and middle of the tire, the news source recommends. If you find that the tread is deeper on one side of the tire than the other, it’s time to take your car to the shop. Also, if it is deeper on the edges, your tire is overinflated. If the treads are deeper in the center, you should inflate your tire as soon as possible.Proper wheel alignment is important for a variety of reasons. Improper alignment can lead to premature tire wear, decreased gas mileage, poor handling and can even cause accidents, Hunter Engineering reports.Industry experts recommend that you have your vehicle’s tires checked every 10,000 miles or once every year.

The car tuning trend has been around for as long as I can remember, maybe it was called something else but for as long as there have been automobiles, people have been tuning them.Car tuning can be many different things, some people increase horsepower of their cars, other spend most of their time and money on setting their cars apart aesthetically, while a large number of people change their interiors with new upholstery, TV monitors, video game systems, and even put in laptops. A lot of car tuners do a combination of the above to really set themselves apart from the crowd. So what does the future hold for the car tuning industry? With the increasing popularity of hybrid and more eco-friendly vehicles, one would think car tuning industry would be dying soon but that could not be farther from the reality. As the auto industry changes, so do tuning companies, they constantly adopt the latest technologies to keep up with the latest trends and sometimes they even create technologies that auto manufactures implement into their production models. There are numerous examples of tuned hybrid cars that produce massive amounts of horsepower with relatively good fuel economy. As manufacturers produce more electric vehicles we will see a shift in the car tuning industry to electric motors. It is much easier to increase the horsepower produced by an electric motor than the familiar internal combustion motor. There are already car companies that are using the eco-friendly technology to increase horsepower rather than increase fuel economy. One such example is the sports car produced by Tesla and even Formula One is using small electric motors in their state of the art racing cars to not only increase power but to also reduce fuel consumption. As we get into the second decade of the 21st century the future looks very bright for car tuning and for the environment. Automobiles are not going anywhere and as long as there are automobiles, there will be people who love them and want to go faster and make their vehicles stand out from the crowd and they can sleep better at night knowing they are doing it without damaging the environment.

Based on an analysis by independent research group, Shrink that Footprint, India has been classified as the least green country to manufacture and drive the electronic cars. The heavy coal based power generation in India has resulted in huge emission from the cars similar to that from the cars running on petrol. It was found from the evaluation of the Impact of the grid powered electric vehicles operated in the leading 20 countries of the world that the fully electric operated car generates the fuel emission up to 20 MPG as compared to that of petrol vehicles.According to the assessment, Paraguay is the greenest place on Earth that produces 5 times more hydro-electricity that what it consumes and is said to produce emission as comparable as 218 MPG petrol Cars. The next place that falls second on the list of green places to drive an electric car on earth is Ireland followed by countries like Brazil, Sweden and France.A little shades of green were also found in China making it appropriate for driving the electric cars as the coal-based power generation in China is less carbon intensive in comparison to India. The lead author of the analysis of the survey conducted in the leading 20 countries said that this survey has only highlighted the climate benefits of going electric in terms of cars differs from country to country across the globe. To reach the level of reduced carbon potential the electric cars have to be deployed with lowered level of carbon electricity. In the United States, shale boom gas has started replacing the coal based power generation with the reduced carbon electric driving emission rapidly. The Electric Cars have been greatly criticized for not being environment friendly and harming the planet in numerous other ways. According to a published survey in Norway, Electronic Vehicles are more widely polluting than it is assumed in the world. The study emphasized on the counter production of the electronic vehicles, when the electricity which is produced is produced by coal and oil.The group of Shrink that Footprint’s works on the carbon emission of the electric cars in the leading top 20 countries o earth and analyzed then. The result of the survey concluded that the emission is four times greater in the countries generating power by utilizing the coal base than the countries with low carbon power. It is interesting to know that the analysis also suggests that the carbon emission of he electric cars in the leading countries with the coal-based generation is not much different to car running on petrol. One of the unique qualities of this survey conducted was that it focused on the manufacturing differences between the electric and petrol vehicles.
Tyre manufacturers can spend up to two years developing and creating the next generation of tyres. Lots of new and advanced technologies go into their design, and even when they are produced they have to be tested, and every small change in the design or tread patterns will result in adding two weeks per change made. Therefore if the manufacturers tweak the design, this results in a fortnight’s worth of additional testing to the development time. During testing, computers analyse all the information on the new tyre to make sure they are perfectly formed. Computer simulation is also used at every stage of the tyre’s development. All tyres that are designed for Europe have to meet strict safety guidelines, and once they have been approved for sale in Europe the tyre will be stamped with an ‘E’.As you would expect all of the tyres are tested to destruction. They are fitted to wheels and then spun up to a speed of 300 mph. This test is only for a few minutes as due to the heat generated from the friction even the best tyres will only last a few minutes. Each tyre has to be run through lots of different tests to make sure that they are safe. Specific tests are done depending on their design. An example of this is 4×4 tyres which would be tested off road to make sure that they can deal with the environment that they will be used for. There are lots of different variables when it comes to car tyres: tyre construction, rigidity, shape and even the material and design of the carcass will all have an effect on the individual tyre itself. By changing or altering just one of these components ever so slightly can make a significant difference to the tyre. When considering the design of the tyre the manufacturers also have to consider their target market place. Some of the more luxurious off road vehicles can cost in the region of £100,000 and even more in some cases! These customers are not going to be interested in the hardcore off roading tyres that have great grip in off road conditions but bounce around on your everyday roads – they are looking for comfort. The road noise of the tyre is another huge consideration, therefore all of these design factors have to be decided once the target market place has been agreed.
Everyone is looking to save money in this economy, so why not cut costs on your truck insurance? In a moment I will show you how your premiums are determined. But first…Insurance rates, Einstein and The Theory of Relativity.Did you know that it took Almost 200 years from Sir Isaac Newton in 1717 until Albert Einstein in 1905 finally came up with his his infamous, formula, E=mc2. Well what in the world does, auto insurance have to do with the theory of relativity? Simply this, you don’t need to be an Einstein to understand how your vehicle insurance premiums are calculated. In fact, here are 11 ways an Insurance company figures out how much your premium will be. Some of these you may be able to do nothing about. In the mean time, there are several you can take advantage of. When you are done feel free to call an insurance company so they can answer your questions.1- Age: How old is the person driving? Common sense tells us that, young drivers have less real world experience than others and so it will cost a little more for right now. The good news is that is only for a few years, because when you turn 25 your rates will drop significantly. Drivers under 18 are too young to get their own policy. This means they will need to be listed under someone elses insurance plan. Once they turn 18 they can get insurance under their own name.2- Sex: Are they male or female? Unfortunately male drivers will pay more because the statistics show they are involved in more accidents. Sorry about the bad news guys!3- Next comes the Vehicle’s information including year, make and model: I told you that you don’t need to be an Einstein. it only makes sense that a new car will cost more to insure than an old model. On the other hand, a more luxurious car will cost more than a less expensive one, and a sports car will cost more than a sedan. Believe it or not, foreign cars cost more to insure than domestic cars! If you want to save the most money you can on insurance, try and pick a Domestic, 4 cylinder, 4 door sedan or minivan. If you want a 2 door red hot rod then to be prepared to pay for the privilege of insuring it!4- Address: Did you know that your home address will affect your rates? Think about it for a moment, if you live in an area that statistically has more accidents, thefts and claims then your rates will be higher.5- How many miles do you drive a year? It only makes sense that the more you drive it the more chance of having an accident. The converse is also true you will pay less if you do not drive it as often.6- Deductibles: The higher a deductible you select, the lower your rates will be. So if you choose a $250 deductible, then be ready to pay more than if you would have chosen a $1,000.00 deductible. This isn’t rocket science folks, so if you are a good driver and have confidence in your ability to drive safely then go ahead and pick as high a deductible as you can afford.7- Driving record: As discussed previously, teenage drivers will pay more for coverage because they have less experience on the road. However, there are other things that will cause your rates to be increased. Any tickets lately?. Believe it or not, the parents driving record will also impact how much the premiums go up. If the parents have tickets or accidents the costs will be higher than if they had a clean driving history.Remember that your driving habits are one of the biggest contributors to the cost of your monthly premiums. Make it a habit to be a safe and defensive driver. In conclusion, shop around for the lowest rates. Every insurance company will have their own automobile insurance rate schedule. So it make sense to be a smart consumer and check your pricing. Just remember to compare apples to apples.I’ve shared 7 of the 11 points here, go to our blog to read the rest of this article.
You may or may not of heard that people all over the world are installing conversions kits in there cars so they can run your car on water. Before you thinking about converting your car to run on water, continue reading this article to better understand how the process works. First ask, is it even possible to run your car on water? Well after reading this article, then you will better understand why the answer is yes, you can run your car on water. How do the Conversion Kits Work?In the instruction guide that comes with the conversion kit, says that, what it dose is convert water to a highly flammable gas called Oxyhydrogen, or as it is commonly called is Brown Gas. After the converting the Brown Gas is channeled to the gas tank and then is mix with the gasoline. By doing this you can run your car on water and gas. Thus dramatically increasing your gas mileage. And by using less gas while you drive, means less time fill up your tank at the gas station. Saving you money. So Dose this Brown Gas Works?Remember Brown gas is a flammable so it wills combust just like normal gasoline; also Brown Gas is a commonly used gas within many industries today. Brown Gas can easily be converted just through electrolysis of water which is why it so easy to make. The conservation kits use this electrolysis process, and then use catalysis to improve the production of the Brown Gas. Fox News is the only news cast that has reported at the Consumer Electronics Show 2008 at Las Vegas on this alternative fuel source. But my guess is that the oil companies are not like it to much. So that would explain the lack of mainstream media attention on the subject. Can You Run Your Car On Water? But the end question is, can you run your car on water and how much will it improve gas mileage and engine power. I strongly believe that this is will be the answer to the oil problem in the USA today. By Converting your car to run on water the most abounded resources on the planet will improve the lives of everyone. Though it may not stop global warming, it will slow it down dramatically. Plus, if your car doesn’t improve by running on water, the conversion kit is easy removed and there is a 56 day money back guarantee policy. After understanding more about how to run your car on water I have installed a conversion kit on my car is I’ve seen a great improvement in my gas mileage. I’m now getting 40 mpg city and 79 mpg hwy. This is double what I was getting by just burning normal gasoline. Getting this conversion kit as been one of my best investments I’ve made in a very long time. I now plan to run all my car on water and brown gas mixture.
Every month companies spends thousands of dollars on advertisements. They advertise on main roads, news papers, supermarkets, Malls, cinemas, buses ….etcThe problem with these advertisements is that they are static. When a company place it’s advertisement on the main road the only people who sees it are the ones that pass throw that road, same applies to news papers, magazines and other types of advertisements. To achieve the best results advertisers need to make more people see their ads so they need to distribute their ads on a bigger scale.Back in the old days the small planes where used to make the whole town see the Ad, but now that won’t work because cities are too crowded and every one is so busy minding his own business, so the advertisers started to look for an alternative way, they needed something that everybody can see and is not fixed to one location such as cars and buses. These programs are done by an advertisement company, not by the car manufacturer, just like the buses ads. these companies pay thousands to spread their ads all around, when they put an advertisement on a car they can be sure that a lot of people from many locations can see it. because buses are already used some companies started to use cars, so either they give you a car to drive for free with ads wrapped all over it, or they give you money in exchange for putting an ad on your car and let you drive so people can see the ads.
